Titanium Dioxide

Titanium Dioxide is the largest volume pigment with consumption somewhere in the region of 4 million tones annually on a global basis. Titanium Dioxide offers excellent stability with a very high refractive index, and even beneficial properties when it comes to considering dimensions such as weathering and UV resistance.

Paramount colors offers in partnership with KMML a world class Chloride Process Titanium Dioxide produced in India under a license agreement utilizing a well respected Kerr McGee technology.

Paramount’s core manufacturing and souring foundation for its group activities is in India. Many of our raw materials or vital feedstocks are produced in India, and as a company we import over 1,000 containers of either finished goods or intermediates from India. This provides a cost effective critical mass of product flow to offer a local service with a global reach. Titanium Dioxide is utilized in one form or another by our customers, and our objective is to offer the convenience of an alternative source of the newer “chloride” material from the strategic region of India, with local inventory, service and application support.

RC 802 Excellent balance of optical properties and durability High performance multipurpose products. General architectural interior and exterior finishes, exterior industrial finishes, marine, coil and powder coatings, all classes of water borne and solvent based coatings.
RC 808 Excellent haze free gloss and gloss retention, high durability, high tinting strength, high dispersibility. Industrial and automotive refinish paints, marine coil and powder coatings and industrial OEM , water based systems
RC 822 High durability, chalk resistance, excellent gloss retention and tint retention. Good dispersibility. Exterior applications and powder coatings, water and solvent based paints, decorative and industrial coatings.
RC 800 PG Finer particle size, blue undertone and good dispersibility. Plastic, rubber and floor tiles.
